Dr Edward Gomba is a successful, creative and strategy oriented businessman who has founded and currently runs Ruvimbo Funeral Assurance (Pvt) Ltd as the ChiefExecutive Officer. He is married with 3 children. He is a dynamic leader whose work and efforts has demonstrated that, an attribute that has been valued by his business colleagues in the industry. Dr Gomba has been re-elected as the President of Zimbabwe Association of Funeral Assurers (ZAFA) 3rd term in office, the current President of Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ). He sits on several boards which include AFM church in Zimbabwe Shiloh Word Miracle Center Assembly, Board member AFM (Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe) and the National Business Forum. Dr Gomba is the current Chairman of Selborne Reoutledge Primary School. Dr Gomba is also the current President of African Funeral Assurance and Services Association. He holds a Doctorate in Humane Letters (International Institute of Philanthropy)IIP and several other diplomas and certificates which include Executive Diploma in BusLeadership with the Zimbabwe Institute of Management, Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies, Diploma In Information Processing, Diploma In Diplomacy

Dr Gomba has worked for several companies such as Manweb Systems where he was the Director of Operations, Progressive Group of Companies as the Group IT Controller; Progressive Insurance Brokers, First Funeral Assurance, Bereaved Family Services and ICL Zimbabwe amongst others before founding Ruvimbo Funeral Assurance (Pvt) Ltd.
